Christina Patsalidou is a Full-Time Research Faculty in the Dance Program of University of Nicosia. She holds a Master of Fine Arts in the field of Choreography, a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance Performance and a Bachelor of Sciences in Nutritional Sciences from The University of Arizona. She is an active researcher in the field of dance education, dance wellness programs, nutrition for the dancer, ballet technique and cross-training for the ballet dancer. Patsalidou has been invited to present her research at international dance conferences in USA and Europe. She is the coauthor of the chapter Bone Health in the Dancer Wellness, a book published by Human Kinetics for the International Association of Dance Medicine and Science. In 2013, she has cofounded 35° 33° Dance Company, a contemporary ballet based company in Cyprus. Patsalidou is a Registered Dietitian and holds the Registered Teaching Status of Royal Academy of Dance.
