Research interests

Dr Christine SAVVIDOU is an Assistant Professor at the University of Nicosia. She holds an EdD in Teacher Education from the University of Nottingham (UK) and an MEd in English Language Teaching from the University of Manchester (UK). For over two decades, she has gained extensive experience in teaching and examining English as a Foreign Language. Her current research interests and publications are in the fields of teacher education and professional development in TESOL and narrative research methods. Her publications have appeared in the Journal of Teacher Development, Intercultural Education, Teachers and Teaching: Theory and Practice, Intercultural Education, The Internet TESL Journal, and Technology, pedagogy and education. She has been working at the University of Nicosia since 2001.
