Research interests

Dr Eirini Kampriani' research interests evolve around disease risk and illness experience, and breast cancer in particular, the making and managing of uncertainty in health and clinical encounters, and the social-cultural-ethical aspects of disease genetics. In addition, she has long-standing interest in areas related to the body gender and health, science and society, and cultural diversity and public health. Overall, her research adopts an empirical approach and ethnographic exploration of moralities of health and care in situated contexts, while driven by an interest in applied and interdisciplinary work.
