Research interests

Georgios Tsaousis is Assistant Professor of Public Law at the School of Law of the University of Nicosia and a Lawyer at the Supreme Court and the Council of State in Greece. He completed his postgraduate and doctoral studies at the Law School of the University of Dijon (France). His doctoral thesis was evaluated with excellent (très honorable) and published. He has taught public law at the School of Law of the University of Thrace, the International University of Greece and Constitutional law at the School of Police Officers. He has written and published teaching manuals on administrative procedure and articles in legal journals (Greek and foreign). His scientific interest is focused on issues of administrative law and administrative procedure, protection of fundamental rights with an emphasis on personal data, immigration policy and management of asylum issues as well as coherent application of EU law
