Dr. Cruz-Lorite holds a PhD in Education and Social Communication, in the research line of science education, from the University of Málaga (Spain). She is currently employed as a researcher at the Department of Education of the University of Nicosia (Cyprus) under the EU funded open schooling project “ICSE Science Factory”. Her research interests focus on science education using socio-scientific issues related to environmental problems as a teaching context.
