European collaboration and mobility in professional development of pre- and in-service STEM

ProSTEM or ICSEAcademy is a project funded under Erasmus2027, Teachers' Academy first call with a total budget: 1.5 million Euros. The project started in June 2022 and is focusing on supporting STEM teachers across the partner EU countries and beyond in order to address education and training needs of STEM teachers. As part of the three year project, the project partners will:
- engage in job shadowing as a way to exchange expertise and learn from each other,
- design and deliver in two phases an online teacher professional development course to address the need of STEM teachers across Europe,
- engage policy makers across the EU in discussions about changes in STEM education that will benefit students and teachers,
- design and deliver two summer schools for STEM teachers as a way to further support STEM teachers but also engage them in networking with other teachers from the EU.

UNIC is leading the Policy work-package that will lead to policy recommendation reports.
