Προς μία νέα προσέγγιση της τοπικής ανάπτυξης σε συνθήκες κρίσης – Μία εφαρμογή πολιτικής επιχειρηματικών οικοσυστημάτων στην τοπική ανάπτυξη (η περίπτωση της Ελλάδας)

The competitiveness of the Greek economy is changing, in the context of the dynamic transformations that are taking place in the overall national and global environment. The outcome of this development depends significantly on the ability of the Greek small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) themselves - the cells of the financial system - to adapt to the constant and intensifying competitive changes. In this context, the structure and dynamics of the evolution of the individual local development environments become vital dimensions for the overall perspective of the national productive system. The present study attempts to approach and establish a new framework of analysis, proposing a systematic socio-economic approach, integrated into the perspective of business ecosystems and focusing on the application of a method of strengthening the business physiology of locally operating SMEs. This method proposes the construction of a focused mechanism for the development and diffusion of knowledge and innovation, at local and regional level: the Institutes of Local Development and Innovation (ITAK). It then analyzes the available regional data in order to favor the region of the country where the severity of the consequences of the crisis justifies the experimental application and implementation of ITAK in Greece.
