Abstract

A comparitive analysis of the most important graphical models of object-oriented databases. These models were also compared with graphical model of GOQL, the graphical query language for object-oriented databases. The comparison was based on an example of an object-oriented database schema whose graphical representation was given in the most important graphical models. The user's view (UV) of GOQL provides the basis for building the query mechanism of a graphical query language for object-oriented databases.
