Abstract

The scientific and technical challenges of this work were met by creating a software core of information technology for CSCL. This software has been adapted as a CSCL system at a private secondary school. This cost-effective technology is designed to be flexible, and it can easily adapt and be modified according to the requirements and specifications of other institutions. The Collaborative Learning Tool is implemented by integrating open source, cross platform products such as Fedena, BigBlueButton and Joomla.
