Abstract
A simplification of the synthesis of parallel wire antenna arrays is discussed. By the moment method, the wire antenna array pattern is expressed in a form similar to that of a point source. The synthesis is thus reduced to the well-known methods. Several examples for possible uses and some practical considerations are included.
