Abstract

Nonlinear magnetostatic analysis was performed to compute the spatial nonuniform permeability tensor of the ferrite samples in antenna applications. The 3-D nonlinear magnetostatic problem was solved to compute for various antenna/scattering characteristics of the cavity-backed antenna. The results showed that in the nonuniform case, the resonance occurs at lower frequencies due to the weak bias at the edges of the ferrite.
