Abstract

This paper presents the derivation of a simple, low order system frequency response (SFR) and system voltage response (SVR) model, that can be used for estimating the frequency and voltage responses in a distribution network. The paper establishes the range of responses that describe the behavior of a 33 kV islanded distribution network of certain structure and composition by grouping similar frequency and voltage responses of the network.
