Abstract
We study the connection establishment of low-speed traffic streams over high capacity lightpaths in IP/MPLS over WDM networks. Specifically, we present different adaptive routing algorithms to dynamically route traffic flows over the logical topology, and we compare their performance evaluations in term of call blocking rate with the conventional shortest path traffic-grooming algorithm approaches.
