Abstract
The main objective of this chapter is to assess the framework within which the development of entrepreneurship in Greece takes place. How does the functioning of the country's institutions affect the development of entrepreneurship? Why have the policies of the Greek governments in recent years not yet had a positive impact on the development of entrepreneurial activities? The discussion that will take place will enable us to highlight many of the important challenges we face for the development of entrepreneurship. To answer our main questions, we will use an eclectic approach to entrepreneurship and political economy, and we will critically analyze a series of primary and secondary sources.
