Abstract
This work describes the development and operation of a system used in the continuous monitoring of a civil-aviation radar. The system consists of hardware components available off-the-shelf. The software, which controls the equipment, is written largely for the specific system, but can easily be adapted for other spectrum monitoring tasks. Results of the equivalent power density (maximum and average) obtained with the developed system will be presented. The features of the system include continuous operation and full remote control and administration.
