Abstract

In this paper we present the graphical query language GOQL. GOQL provides a user-friendly graphical interface to support ad-hoc queries for object-oriented database applications. Such queries will be translated into standard OQL queries. Herein we illustrate, using an example, the use and expressiveness of GOQL and briefly survey similar work and developments in the market and in the literature.
