Mesotherapy: Review of methods and practices of facial application

Abstract

Over the last years there is a big usage of mesotherary treatment for face from health practitioners. Mesotherapy is characterized as a variety of small injections that cocktail of nourishing ingredients (usually vitamins and hyaluronic acid) get into the skin with needles witch cause damage in dermis layer. Target of this procedure is skin hydration, skin loose and tightening. This study evaluates the face mesotherapy methods used in aesthetics for skin rejuvenation in every level. This popular technique gains every day more believers and as a result is used in face rejuvenation protocols. The real mechanism of mesotherapy for aesthetic application is unknown until today but the effectiveness in skin rejuvenation is proved in various studies but there is always place for more investigation of this issue.
