Abstract
Blockchain, a transformative force in business, is gaining recognition for its potential impact on Human Resources (HR). This study assesses the awareness of over 100 HR-related professionals regarding blockchain's value in enhancing HR efficiency, reducing costs, and integrating it into various business functions. Participants prefer a secure, tamper-proof network for verifiable candidate information, cost-effective HR data processing, and the maintenance of employee work history. They also value a comprehensive database, flexible payment options (such as smart contracts), and data confidentiality. In conclusion, a secure network for verifiable job applicant data, decentralized storage, flexible payment methods, and data confidentiality are essential for HR transactions. Embracing blockchain within an innovative organizational culture is crucial. These findings highlight blockchain's value in HR and guide organizations looking to leverage its benefits. Overall, HR transactions should prioritize data confidentiality and transparency within an organizational culture that supports innovative technologies, particularly blockchain.
